
About Ciovo:
The Island of Ciovo is situated in Central Dalmatia and is connected, via a bridge, with the Unesco City of Trogir. The Island is 15.3 km long and 3.5 km wide. The highest mountain is Rudine at a height of 220 metres.
The landscape is covered by cypress, figs, olives, lemon, mandarine and orange trees.
Along the coast you will find many different beaches, from hidden bays with natural rocky beaches, pebble beaches for families with children or beaches for party people. There is something for everyone on Ciovo.
The small harbour of Okrug Gornji has embarkation points for bigger boats. The nearest ACI Marina with Yacht Charter facilities is in Trogir (4 km).
There are also many sporting possibilities, for example Diving Centre, Watersport such as Jetski
and Waterski, Tennis...
Boat trips with fish picnic are organized to the near islands of Solta and Drvenik. There is also a glassboat where you can have a look into the underwater world of the Adriatic sea.
During the summer months a lot of fishing parties with grilled fish and local wine are organized.
Excursions:
Trogir: Trogir ist one of the worth seeing places of Croatia. The Unesco Town has kept its middleage flair so that we can speak about a townsmuseum. The old town of Trogir occupies a tiny island in the narrow channel between Ciovo Island and the mainland, just off the coastal highway.
Trogir offers many sights. At the end of the beautiful Riva where the astonishing Yachts of the Riches are droped anchor you will find the fortress Kamerlengo. It was built by Venetians in Xlll - XV century as a naval base for their navy forces in this part of the Adriatic. It is named by town Magistrate Camerarius. Nowadays, the fortress is a multimedia with stage for various cultural events.
Other sights are the Kairos Museum and the Cathedral of St. Lawrence with Radovan's portal.
Trogir is a romantic town which will you charm with its mediterainien Flair, food and cultural heritage.
  
Split: Split is the second largest city in Croatia and with its numerous sights (for example Diocletia palace which accommodates many shops, restaurants, cafes and apartments), museums and universities the economic, administrative and cultural centre of Middle Dalmatia. Sitting on the southern side of a high peninsula it is also the jumping-off point for exploration of the coast and islands (for example Brač and Hvar) of the beautiful Croatian Adriatic. With its numerous bars, restaurants and nightclubs Split also offers a busy nightlife.
  
Sinj: The town of Sinj is situated in the hinterland the so-called ''Dalmatinska Zagora'', 37 km distant from Split. The towns' biggest attraction is the traditional knights competition. The so-called ''ALKA'' is organized every year on the Sunday closest to the Assumption (15th of August) to celebrate the victory over the Turks in 1715. The participants, the so-called ALKARI, wear traditional costumes must tilt an iron ring while galloping a horse.
With the shrine of the Miraculous Lady of Sinj the town is also one of Croatia's religious centres.

National Park Krka Waterfalls: It was proclaimed a national park in 1985 and is the seventh national park in Croatia. The Krka National Park is located entirely within the territory of Sibenik- Knin County and encompasses an area of 109 square kilometers along the Krka River. With its seven travertine waterfalls and a total drop of 242 meters, the Krka River is a natural and karstic phenomenon.
The Skradinski Buk s the most popular waterfall. Enjoy walking over the bridges that follow the course of the waterfalls, and viewing the wealth of flora and fauna. Presentation exhibitions for visitors include: ethno collection, mills, wicker clothes, basket, columns, weaving loom, souvenir shop.

Visovac: This organized boat tour leaves from Skradinski buk and includes: a ridge through the Krka River canyon, a visit to the Fraciscan monastery, a half-hour tour of the churches and museums and a
tour of the island.

Cetina River: For thousands of years the Cetina river has been shaping the canyon, creating miraculous forms in the stone of its river-bed. Crystal-clear river with the temperature pleasant for swimming offers you a true experience of an untouched nature with up to 180 meter high cliffs, cascades, lakes, underground tunnels and the 40 meter high waterfall named Gubavica.
